The La Marzocco Linea PB takes the design of the Classic and refines it for the operator who wants control over every drink. Auto volumetric programming with four programmable doses per group head. Saturated brewing groups on each group, dual PID temperature control, pre infusion. The machine you see at the World Barista Championship and in the bars of cafes serious about what comes out of the cup.

Designed alongside Piero Bambi, son of the founder, the PB carries his initials for a reason. Same hand built Florence construction as the Classic, with the electronics, the volumetric control and the saturated group design refined further. Available in two or three group configurations.

The PB on the bar adjusts the customer’s expectation of the cup before they have ordered. The build keeps pace through the busiest service, and the electronics keep every shot in line.

Our engineers deliver and install the machine, plumb it in to mains water and waste, run the power and commission it on your bar. Your first 6kg of coffee comes with it. After that, you have one team handling the supplies and any engineer support, for as long as the machine is on the bar.

How much does the Linea PB cost?
We build every Linea PB quote around what your business needs, including group count, colour and any options. Get in touch and we will design a complete quote for you, including engineer install, water filter and softener, delivery and your first 6kg of coffee.
How is the PB different from the Linea Classic S?
The PB adds auto volumetric programming with four programmable doses per group head, more advanced electronics, refined saturated groups and pre infusion as standard. The Classic is the bar workhorse with the timeless look. The PB is the choice for cafes that want individual drink control on every group head and the build that goes with serious specialty coffee programmes.
Do we need a trained barista?
Yes. The PB is a traditional espresso machine. It needs someone behind the bar to dose, tamp and pull the shots, and to steam milk on the wand. In practice the skill is more straightforward to pick up than the machine looks. If a trained operator is not part of the setup, a bean to cup is the better category instead.
Does it have to be plumbed in?
Yes. Traditional espresso machines are plumbed to mains water and to waste. They cannot be run from a tank or barrel. If your site does not have plumbing and waste in place we can flag what is needed during the survey.
