JL36 Bean to Cup Coffee Machine

If you want real fresh milk coffee but a full size machine would swallow your counter, this one belongs on your shortlist. The JL36 is the smallest fresh milk bean to cup we sell, yet it pours proper cappuccinos, lattes and flat whites at the press of a button from a state of the art 10.1 inch touchscreen. It runs off a wall socket with a built in water tank, so it goes places a big machine never could. Here is why it earns its place.

Real fresh milk coffee, from a machine that fits where others will not.

Start with what it puts in the cup. Real fresh milk cappuccinos, lattes and flat whites, espresso, americano and macchiato, all chosen from a state of the art 10.1 inch touchscreen anyone can walk up and use. It is built for the places a full size machine will not go: a small office, a bakery counter, a food truck, a pub back bar, anywhere counter space is tight but the coffee still has to be good.

What surprises people is how good it is for its size. Real coffee beans are ground fresh for every drink and brewed through a professional chamber, and an automatic pump draws real fresh milk and foams it to a silky microfoam. The cappuccinos come up glossy, the flat whites pour smooth, the espresso carries a proper crema. It is the kind of cup that makes people ask where you got the machine.

And the quality is no accident. We dial our own beans in to this machine so it draws the very best out of them, and it foams real fresh milk over the top. That pairing, our coffee and this machine, is what puts a genuinely high quality drink in the cup every time, the sort people come back for.

It goes wherever you put it. At 22 kilograms and 30 centimetres wide, with a built in 2 litre water tank, it runs from a wall socket alone with no plumbing needed, though we can plumb it in if you have a connection nearby. When the layout changes, the machine moves with it, not the pipework.

It is also a machine made to be seen. Italian designed, with a mirror finish stainless steel front and soft ambient lighting around the screen. On a counter in front of customers it looks like a piece of equipment a business chose, not one it settled for.

We deliver, install and set it up to suit how you serve, with your first 6kg of our coffee in the box so you are pouring from day one. After that we keep you stocked with coffee and ingredients by the box on next day delivery, and we are on the end of the phone whenever you need us. You get the same people every time, who know your setup and answer when you call. That is how we have looked after businesses since 2009.

Common questions

The things buyers actually ask

How much does the JL36 cost?
We build every quote around what your business needs. Get in touch and we will design a complete quote for you, including engineer install, water filter, delivery, your first 6kg of our coffee and the milk fridge.
Is the coffee actually good from a machine this small?
Genuinely, yes, and it is the thing people are most surprised by. Real beans are ground fresh for every cup and we dial our own coffee in to the machine, and a fresh milk pump foams a silky microfoam, so the cappuccinos and lattes come up with real body and the espresso carries a proper crema. Come and taste one and judge for yourself.
How many cups can it do in a day?
Around 100 cups a day at the recommended sustainable volume, and it handles short bursts above that. Comfortable for small offices, pop ups, boutique cafes and executive coffee points. If you regularly need more than 100 a day from one machine we will spec you a larger setup.
Does it need plumbing in?
No. The JL36 has a built in 2 litre water tank as standard, so it runs from a wall socket alone. If you do have a mains water connection nearby we can plumb it in on install instead. A water filter is fitted from day one either way.
What is the cleaning routine?
Short and largely automatic. The machine prompts you when it is due, you press start, and it does the rest, the full daily clean taking around twelve minutes. A weekly brewer tablet and a quarterly descale run on the same pattern. Plumbed to mains and drained to waste on install, it is simpler still.
